INVITATION FOR BIDS HALL COUNTY 2021 SPRING RESURFACING 13th Street between 60th Road & Engleman Road Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Hall County Clerk, 121 S. Pine St., Grand Island, NE 68801 until 5:00 p.m., (CDT), Monday, April 12, 2021 for the construction of the 2021 Spring Asphalt Resurfacing. Bids received after specified time will be returned unopened to sender. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in the Hall County Board of Commissioners Room located in the Hall County Administration Building at 121 S. Pine Street in Grand Island, Nebraska. Envelopes containing the bids shall be sealed and must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond in an amount of not less than five percent of the amount bid. The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to the Hall County Treasurer as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award is made will enter into contract to build the improvement bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance. The envelope containing the bid shall be marked as follows: County Commissioner Chairperson and County Commissioners C/o Marla Conley, Hall County Clerk Proposal For: Hall County Fall 2020 Resurfacing Project Bids will be accepted until 5:00 P.M. (CDT), Monday, April 12, 2021. Bids to Be Opened: Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. (CDT) Hall County Administration Building 121 South Pine Street Grand Island, Nebraska Plans and specifications for use in preparing bids may be obtained from the Hall County Highway Department, 2900 W. 2nd Street, Grand Island, NE 68803. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the date fixed for bid opening. Hall County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts of thereof and award contracts as may be deemed to the best interest of the County. The successful bidder will be required to furnish evidence of insurance and to furnish a performance and payment bond in the sum of the full amount of the contract.
