PUBLIC NOTICE The elective office of Hall County Commissioner District #3 in Hall County, Nebraska is vacant. According to Nebr. Rev. Stat. 32-567, the vacancy will be filled within 45 days from the date of vacancy by appointment by the Hall County Attorney, Hall County Clerk and Hall County Treasurer. The letters of interest/resumes for the Hall County Commissioner District #3 are due November 18, 2020 b y 5:00 p.m. and can be submitted to the Hall County Clerk, 121 South Pine Suite #4, Grand Island, Ne or by e mail to marlac@hallountyne.gov. The County Attorney, County Clerk and County Treasurer will meet on November 19, 2020 at 10:30 am to review the letters of interest/resumes and schedule interviews. An agenda is available at the County Clerk's Office. Pursuant to Section Neb. Rev. Stat. 23-150, the individual appointed to fill the vacancy must be a registered voter in, and a resident of his or her respective district. Commissioner District #3 is comprised of primarily of rural Hall County. The current term of office for Commissioner District #3 ends January 5, 2023. The annual salary for this elective office is $30,883.07, $31.500.73 for 2021, and $32,130.74 for subsequent years. Health insurance and retirement benefits are available.
