REQUEST FOR BID PROPOSALS FOR "SHOP FLOOR REPAIR" Sealed Bid Proposals will be received at the office of the Hall County Clerk, 121 S. Pine Street, Grand Island, Nebraska 68801 until 5:00 p.m., (CDT), Monday, September 28, 2020, for Shop Floor Repair at the Hall County Highway Department located at 2900 West 2nd Street. Proposals received after specified time will be returned unopened to sender. Proposals will be publicly opened and read at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 in the Hall County Board of Commissioners Room located in the Hall County Administration Building at 121 S. Pine Street in Grand Island, Nebraska. Envelopes containing the proposals shall be sealed and marked as follows: County Board Chairperson and County Board C/o Marla Conley, Hall County Clerk Proposal For: "SHOP FLOOR REPAIR" Bid Proposals will be accepted until 5:00 P.M. (CDT), Monday, September 28, 2020. Proposals to Be Opened: Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. (CDT) Hall County Administration Building 121 South Pine Street Grand Island, Nebraska Bid Proposals shall be submitted on the form provided. There is a 40 foot by 60 foot section of shop floor that needs repaired. The contractor is to remove a 40' by 60' section of 8" thick shop floor, install a transverse trench drain that ties into the existing drain system, tie into the existing floor drains, and replace the 8" thick concrete floor with class "47B" reinforced concrete. The contractor shall be required to provide insurance. Proposers are required to view the Shop Floor at the Hall County Highway Department, 2900 W. 2nd Street, Grand Island, Nebraska 68803 before submitting a Proposal. A copy of the building plans for the original construction will be given to all proposers. No proposal may be withdrawn within a period of forty-five (45) days after the date fixed for Proposal opening. Hall County reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or parts of thereof and award contracts as may be deemed to the best interest of the County. The successful proposer will be required to furnish evidence of insurance and to furnish a performance and payment bond in the sum of the full amount of the contract.
