Woman reports being kicked several times in the head

A 22-year-old Grand Island woman reported that she was jumped from behind by two unknown males early Tuesday evening at 415 S. Elm St.

During the course of the assault, she was kicked several times in the head. One of the assailants pulled out a pocket knife and cut her finger during the assault.

Officers met with the woman in the emergency room at CHI Health St. Francis. The assault occurred at 6:10 p.m.

No arrests have been made.
