Yet as Husker head coach Mike Riley discussed in San Francisco last week, those losses did not come by bad luck. "There are reasons we lost those games," he said, and looking at any other way "is really a trap."
There are so many ways you could describe Nebraska's wild ride that was. And so many plays that might have turned the win-loss record in a favorable manner.
