Pieces of our community featured at Grand Island Public Library
GRAND ISLAND, NE – The Grand Island Public Library is pleased to announce Walnut Middle School’s D.C. Diplomats in partnership with Stuhr Museum as this month’s featured artist in the library’s Art Alcove. The exhibit, titled Pieces of Our Community, will be on display from September 1 to September 30 and showcases puzzle pieces that highlight different countries represented within Grand Island Public Schools and the broader Grand Island community.
Visitors are invited to view the exhibit during regular library hours at Grand Island Public Library, 1124 W 2nd St, Grand Island, NE 68801. A reception will be held on September 29, 2026, at 6 p.m. offering the opportunity to meet the artist and learn more about their creative process.
